The concept tyres are made with the help of London Royal College of Art within the context of the Hankook \u201cDesign Innovation\u201d, which was launched under the motto \u201cExtending Future Life beyond Mobility\u201d. For the task, the participating students were asked to develop a new tyre concept for autonomous vehicles, thereby creating a whole new experience for the mobility of the future. The criteria for choosing the winners included attractiveness of the design and the implementation of technical principles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tyremarket.com\/tyremantra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">READ TYRE INDUSTRY NEWS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Klaus Krause, Head of the European Research and Development Centre at Hankook explained that the project is a part of their efforts to find efficient and creative solutions for future mobility. The Hankook is pleased to present creative contributions that are also promoted in their employees\u2019 mindset. They will continue to grow and develop new visions that go beyond the limits of current tyres and mobility.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cAeroflow\u201d tyre offers maximum downforce that is designed to be used in motorsports. The wheel has been widened through a separable tread and the tyre grip has been optimised. The wheel has been optimized with the turbine impellers to pick up the air during driving and use this to generate additional downforce as per the requirement. The focus on downforce makes it a unique product as downforce is something that is generally not considered while developing tyre.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cHexonic\u201d is an intelligent tyre for autonomous shared mobility vehicles for future cities. The comfort of passengers is the deciding factor for the driving experience. The Hexonic tyre supports maximum driving comfort by scanning and analysing the road in real time using as many as seven separate sensors.
