Apollo Tyres<\/a><\/strong>, has begun commercial production of truck tyres from its Hungarian plant. Earlier, last year in April, the company had rolled out passenger car tyres under Apollo and Vredestein brands from the plant that has been set up with a total investment of EUR 475 million.<\/span><\/p>\nThe first lot that rolled out from the plant is now used by Piessens and Zonen, a company based out of Belgium that specialises in the transportation of construction materials, Apollo Tyres told in a statement. The company also stated that Belgium is the first country in Europe where Apollo truck tyres were introduced last year, the country again was the obvious choice to start the delivery from the company\u2019s Hungarian plant. They further added that currently with over 2% market share, the country has become an important market for Apollo Tyres.<\/span><\/p>\nApollo Tyres has started supplying truck tyres in Europe in 2017. The Hungarian facility in Gyongyoshalasz (Gy\u00f6ngy\u00f6shal\u00e1sz) region is the company’s second production facility in Europe and sixth worldwide.
