The event is scheduled to take place in the South Indian city of Kochi during 30-31 August 2018. The theme of the 4<sup>th<\/sup> IRM will be \u201cTowards a sustainable rubber value chain\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder associations from all sections of the rubber industry will be represented in the meeting. IRM is a platform for exchange of information, improve networking and for interaction. As many as 700 delegates from India and around the world are supposed to be a part of this year\u2019s IRM.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions at the 4<sup>th<\/sup> IRM will cover topics related to rubber industry ranging from current rubber scenario to challenges and strategic planning for sustainability and advancement. Many internationally renowned lecturers will deliver lectures during this two-day event. The meeting will also see panel discussions that will involve experts and key stakeholders from different segments of the rubber industry.<\/p>\n<p>In order to formulate and organise the meeting, a national high-level committee has been constituted under the leadership of Dr. M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, who is also the Chairman and Executive Director of the Indian Rubber Board.
