The Yokohama Rubber Company<\/strong><\/a>, Limited, based in Tokyo (Japan\u2019s second largest tyre maker), has hired Jeff Barna as Chief Operating Officer, effective from January, 13th onwards. In his new role, Jeff Barna will be responsible for sales, marketing, and product planning and also will be on Yokohama Tyres Corp\u2019s committee. He will be reporting to Shinichi Takimoto, Yokohama Tyres Corp. President.<\/p>\n

As per the statement by Yokohama Tyres Corp., CEO (North America and of Yokohama Tyres Corp.), Hideto Katsuragawa \u2013 Jeff is another strategic investment in the future of Yokohama Tyres Corp. in the American market.<\/p>\n

Before joining Yokohama, Jeff Barna worked in management, sales, and logistics position at Nilfisk-Advance Inc., an international company in the professional cleaning products and service industry. He has also worked for Exide Technologies and began his career at Tenneco Automotive selling Monroe Shock Absorbers to the dealers and retail stores in the metropolitan New York market.<\/p>\n

Jeff Barna is working closely with the Yokohama team to strengthen Yokohama and to make it more valuable to their business partners. His experience right from the street level of auto parts business to the high level board rooms of Multinational Companies is a perfect match for today\u2019s competitive business climate and to the team, as stated by Shinichi Takimoto, President, Yokohama Tyres Corp.<\/p>\n
