On the other hand, Adrien Metge completed 14th in the stage, which helped him climb up to 41st spot in the overall listing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2511\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tyremarket.com\/tyremantra\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/sherco_EDO5945_rid-Cropped-e1484038193700.jpg\" alt=\"Dakar Rally 2017\" width=\"729\" height=\"410\" vspace=\"18\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The 8th stage at the Dakar Rally, scheduled today, will cover a distance of 892 kilometers including a 492 kilometer special. I was just 14 years old at the time and got to ride as a pillion with an older acquaintance. This one short ride influenced my every decision in terms of the bikes I want to own.
