Keeping track of today’s online business world and the necessity to have an online presence, Michelin North America has launched online sales of tyres<\/strong><\/a>. As of now, the service will cater to the Southeast part of the USA. The company will sell tyres through \u201cMichelinMan.com\u201d. According to the company the aim is to provide customers with an experience where they can browse, choose, and order tyres effortlessly online. In addition, they can also ask for installation of these tyres from Michelin\u2019s local service partners.<\/p>\n

Scott Clark, COO, said that as Michelin doesn\u2019t have any retail stores of its own so it gives primacy to its relationship with the dealers. Keeping this in mind the company is focussed not to affect their business while at the same time providing better solutions to its customers by offering them online tyre buying opportunities.<\/p>\n

Further, it is worth mentioning that when an order is placed and installation is scheduled by the customer the tyres will be delivered to the service provider who then will deliver them to the customer as per geographic proximity. This way the dealers too will have a role in the whole process of online buying experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In a major development in early 2016, Michelin BFGoodrich has already started offering online tyre buying services. The plans are to geographically expand both MichelinMan.com and BFGoodrichTires.com by the mid of 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
