Raghupati Singhania, CMD, JK Tyre and Industries is of the view that the sales of tyres will see a further dip in this month. Talking to a leading Indian Business News Channel he told about the difficulties the Indian tyre manufacturers are facing. He said that Chinese are dumping tyres at 25-30% lower, which in fact is lower than the prices of raw materials.<\/p>\n
He also voiced concerns over the increasing imports from China. At present Chinese imports stands at 42% of replacement market of truck and bus radials. Mr. Singhania also told how the truck production has halted and tyre offtake from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) has stopped too.
