Tread pattern is engraved into the section of the tyre that comes into direct contact with the road surface. Bridgestone alleged that the Triangle tyre had been manufacturing and selling tyres in China using a tread pattern for its studless winter tyres for which Bridgestone holds exclusive design rights.<\/p>\n<p>The following timeline shows the major development in the infringing rights case involving the two:<\/p>\n<p><strong>October, 2013 \u2013<\/strong> The Japanese manufacturer filed a suit with the Intermediate People\u2019s Court in Changchun, China. This lawsuit claimed that the activities of the Triangle Tyre constituted a design rights infringement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July, 2015 \u2013<\/strong> By this time the claim made by Bridgestone was upheld and the Intermediate People\u2019s Court ordered Triangle Tyre to stop manufacturing and sales of tyres that use the tread pattern, which is exclusively held by Bridgestone, and to pay the damages to Bridgestone. Triangle tyre appealed against this decision to the High Court.<\/p>\n<p><strong>January, 2016 \u2013<\/strong> The High People\u2019s Court in Jilin Province upheld the original ruling in a second trial, resulting in the victory of Bridgestone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July, 2016 \u2013<\/strong> Triangle tyre submitted an appeal for a retrial to China\u2019s Supreme People\u2019s Court.<\/p>\n<p><strong>September, 2016 \u2013<\/strong> However, this court determined the result of the second trial that was appropriate thus rejecting triangle Tyre\u2019s appeal and upholding Bridgestone\u2019s claim.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Bridgestone confirms to its commitment of protecting its Intellectual Property and will continue to aggressively address any unauthorised use or infringement of its Patents, Trademarks, or any other Intellectual Property in a strict manner. When all the other kids would break downhill I would pedal harder just to go faster and enjoy the thrill. Adding to my interest for speed, I grew engrossed in the working mechanics of two wheelers thanks to my father as he is a hydraulic mechanic and would take me along with him on his repair sessions. Eventually I became familiar with the tools and basic technical concepts of two wheelers.Super sport and sport tourers are more of my liking and the sparks to these flames were ignited the first time I experienced the maddening power of a Yamaha YZF R1. I was just 14 years old at the time and got to ride as a pillion with an older acquaintance. This one short ride influenced my every decision in terms of the bikes I want to own.
