According to reports, Goodyear Tyre & Rubber Co. has decided to officially end production at its only manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom. The closure will take place a week before this coming Christmas. As per Goodyear\u2019s official statement, the Wolverhampton (England) will stop production on 20\/12\/2016. This will be followed by a 6-month close-down period.<\/p>\n
The company has already announced the closure of Wolverhampton plant in June 2015 last year, as part of its unit restructuring plans in Europe, Middle East and Africa. This step will affect the livelihood of 330 employees.
