The list of 25 inventions published by the renowned magazine includes Chevy Bolt electric vehicle, shoes that lace themselves, virtual reality headset, solar roof collaboration between Tesla and Solar City, besides the revolutionary Goodyear Eagle-360 concept tyre. Every year, Time Magazine\u2019s technology editors sit together and list the year\u2019s \u201cBest inventions that are making the life of humans better, smarter \u2014in some instances\u2014a bit more fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

US-based tyre brand\u2019s Eagle-360 concept tyres<\/strong> have a futuristic approach and are basically meant for self-driving vehicles. Goodyear\u2019s Chief Technical Officer Mr. Joe Zekoski stated that as we move to the future the driver interaction and intervention will gradually reduce in the self-driven vehicles, and here tyres have a key role to play as they are the ones primarily attached to the road.<\/p>\n

The Goodyear Eagle-360 concept tyres are designed in a spherical shape, which will provide great help to the driverless cars in terms of ultimate manoeuvrability, connectivity and bio-mimicry to enhance safety.<\/p>\n

While the Goodyear Eagle-360 is a future concept, however, it symbolises as an important aspect of American multinational\u2019s innovation strategy and their vision for smart and safe mobility.<\/p>\n
