This R&amp;D would focus on the research and development needs for all its product segments and is now tyre maker&#8217;s second global R&amp;D setup after the Netherlands&#8217; R&amp;D centre established in the year 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the research projects, these two global R&amp;D centres of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tyremarket.com\/Apollo-Car-Tyres\"><strong>Apollo Tyres<\/strong><\/a> will also fulfil the development requirements of the respective regions. \u00a0Apollo Tyres Netherlands global R&amp;D centre is based out of Enschede with the team size of more than 150 people. This R&amp;D centre services the European and American regions. On the other hand, the newly inaugurated R&amp;D centre has total employee strength of 140 people and services the product development requirements for the whole Asia-Pacific, Middle East &amp; African regions.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of the inaugural ceremony of the Chennai global R&amp;D centre, Onkar Kanwar, Chairman, Apollo Tyres Ltd. stated that the company has been a consistent leader in terms of launching exclusive products over the past four decades. He also highlighted that the global R&amp;D centre in Chennai will enable the company to accelerate its R&amp;D vision for India as well as other targeted regions. The official also denoted that with this initiative, the company also aligns with PM Narendra Modi&#8217;s vision for Brand India.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the two global R&amp;D centres, Apollo Tyres also has its two satellite R&amp;D centres in Germany and Bengaluru. The Bengaluru based\u00a0R&amp;D centre is working to integrate electronics into <strong>tyre technology<\/strong>, whereas the another R&amp;D satellite based out of Frankfurt, Germany is engrossing the German OE customers for both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tyremarket.com\/Vredestein-Car-Tyres\">Vredestein<\/a> and Apollo brands.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apollo Tyres has recently inaugurated its new global R&amp;D centre for its Asia division on the outskirts of India&#8217;s southern metro city, Chennai. I was just 14 years old at the time and got to ride as a pillion with an older acquaintance. This one short ride influenced my every decision in terms of the bikes I want to own.
