Asia’s biggest and perhaps most competitive startup expo, World Startup Expo, an initiative by Cocoon Ventures concluded today in amidst some great performances and award distribution ceremony. The program started today with the Introduction by Vivek Ladsariya, Head of Investments, Fenox Venture. It was followed by pitch sessions, coffee break and concluding ceremony. The CEO of Trescon, the organizers of WSE anchored the award ceremony.
At the end of the 3-day event, the winners of the 100 OPEN STARTUPS LEVEL 3 PITCH COMPETITION were announced today. The following startups will now travel to Brazil for the next leg of the competition:

3. Snack Experts
4. Trizzio
Another important event that took place today was STARTUP WORLD CUP 2017, a competition that will have 16 regional events worldwide followed by a grand finale May, 2017 in the Silicon Valley city of San Francisco, U.S.A. The winner will be getting $1 million for the prize money. World Startup Expo is a regional partner of Startup World Cup. Among notable speakers, today, the CEO of Medikabazaar (Medikabazaar India’s first B2B (Business to Business) & B2C (Business to Customer) comprehensive platform for all medical and surgical needs.) took the stage and pitched his ideas on startup culture in the Indian scenario.
In the end, it can be said the 3-day is just a part of the changing business scenario in India where more and more ideas and innovations are taking place every day giving rise to the startup culture.
