Seems unimaginable, but yet true. Say hello to the world’s new fastest hypercar, the Bugatti Chiron. The Bugatti Veyron successor takes acceleration and performance to an all-new pinnacle and dethrones all the performance supercars in the global market. Named after the Monegasque racing driver Louis Alexandre Chiron, the Bugatti Chiron was first unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed as the world’s fastest super sports car, Chiron is enormously powerful and an ultra luxurious car coming out from the stables of a France-based auto manufacturer, Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.

The massive 8.0 L quad-turbocharged power plant engine is bound to face heat management and air supply concerns. Therefore, Bugatti Chiron needs an enormous 60,000 litres of oxygen every minute.

2. Plenty Of Radiators To Cool Off

The predecessor Bugatti Veyron was fitted with 10 radiators to keep off overheating. Bugatti Chiron too needs the same number of radiators and at the same position. But ever thought how much water goes into the radiators? It is exactly 37 litres of water. Here the radiators of Chiron get pumped every 3 seconds and 800 litres of water is circulated every minute.

3. Exhaust Gas Treatment System

The colossal power churned out of Chiron requires a notch higher exhaust gas treatment system. And Bugatti Chiron uses as many as six converters whose total active surface is 2,478,563 sq. ft. that’s more than enough to surround all the 32 National Football League (NFL) team’s playgrounds.

4. Aerodynamics And More Aerodynamics

At the very first instance, one would feel that its exteriors are designed keeping in mind the airflow factor. There are three air dams on both sides, unique front splitter and rear diffuser, and reduced effective drag area around the wheels. Even the LED headlights are endowed with small air intakes.

5. Interior Illumination

There is a C-shaped bar light strip, just like a semi-circle, in the centre of the cabin, which starts from the top of the windscreen and bends down to the centre console. 7. Exceptional Rigidity

The monocoque structure of Bugatti Chiron is made from carbon-fibre material and to construct one it takes a month long. Nearly same sort of material is used in Veyron, but this latest one weighs 8 kgs lighter and is even more rigid. As per the supercar maker, it showcases torsional rigidity of 50,000 NM per degree together with a flexural rigidity of 0.25 mm per tonne. These figures are highest for any road legal car.

8. Plethora Of Airbags

Bugatti Chiron is outfitted with plenty of airbags that sit inside the carbon-fibre housings. This is the first time the airbags have been premeditated to blow up through the carbon-fibre housings.

9. Thorough Testing

Bugatti Chiron test cars have gone through rigorous testing. Bugatti claims they have spent 300 hours in the wind tunnel alongside more than 300,000 miles of real-world driving for which they have used over 200 sets of tyres. 10. Radiator Skewed

In order to make the boot practical, the company has tilted the position of one of the Chiron’s radiators. Besides clearing space for a large suitcase it is better for cooling as well.
