The EfficientGrip Performance SUV tyre was introduced by the company to meet the increasing demand for the SUV segment, which is a growing market and is expected to increase with a compound annual growth rate of 26% from 2012 to 2017. The EfficientGrip Performance SUV tyres come with an advanced technology. For offering a more comfortable ride, these tires are furnished with the FlexContact Technology, designed with a shock absorbing cushion layer compound with the optimised formulation. It also comes with Goodyear’s QuietTred Technology which has innovative noise dampening tread design with an increased number of pitches and optimised sequence, coupled with closed shoulder grooves design to deliver optimal quiet performance. Along with these technologies, new innovative polymer tread compound is used in the tyre which offers an increased grip on the wet road and ensures superior performance over the wet condition in the unpredictable weather regions.
