Indian tyre making giant, Apollo Tyres have launched new products for bikes and SUVs recently. The actiZip F2 and actiZip R3 tubeless tyres have been introduced for motorcycles. The Apterra HT2 is meant for the fast growing 4×4 and SUV segment. The Apollo Apterra HT2 tyres for SUVs would be available in 6 sizes initially. Apterra HT2 is aimed at the SUVs like Safari, Hexa, TUV 300, Bolero, Pajero Sports, Prado, Fortuner, Santa Fe, XC60, and Scorpio.
About Apollo actiZip F2 & R3 Tyres –
- actiZip F2 is available for front fitment in motorbikes. Initially will be offered in two sizes.
- actiZip R3 is available for rear fitment in motorbikes. Initially will be offered in three sizes.
- These tyres offer excellent cornering stability, apt for the Indian road conditions

The above mentioned tyres have been introduced across the country in multiple cities. These tyres are developed jointly by the Apollo’s global R&D centres in Chennai, India and Enschede, the Netherlands. The company says that it has about 90% coverage in the two-wheeler market segment. While the company has 17% share in the passenger vehicle segment.
